Revolution News in your inbox or RSS reader:.
I send out regular announcements for parents through email. If you'd like to recieve important Student Ministry information via RSS or Email, or just want to browse recent e-letters I've sent, go to the RevNews archive.
Small Groups:.
SmallThis fall we've added a new and CRITICAL program: RevGroups. The small groups are a student version of the Life Groups you may be familiar with. You students need (1) other Christian peers who can support them, and (2) other Christian adults who can help to mentor them.
Please prayerfully consider making this a priority for your family. To stay in the loop on these and other Student Ministry updates, then email me and let me know.

I'm excited about the year ahead. God has been moving in the student ministries at LifePOINT. Here's a few parts to how we are walking out our mission:
WORSHPING GOD:.
In February we launched our new RevNight worship experience.

Fueling Passion- RevNight
February 28th we launched a new youth worship experience called RevNight. RevNights will meet the last Thursday of every month from now through May. These nights will be filled with intense worship, impacting teaching, and packed with FUN. As we've prayed and planned for impact in our community, we've felt that placing a service like RevNight in an evening during the week will serve as a better fit to fuel a passion for God in the lives of our teens and to better integrate the large group programming of a worship service with the critical small group programming of RevGroups.
GROWING TOGETHER:.
RevGroups. Real spiritual growth happens best in community. These small groups are designed to form communities of students who can propel one another forward, and to connect them with mature Christian adults who can help to mentor them in their walk with God.
Sunday Mornings. I've come to learn that one of the strongest corrolaries to a walk with the Lord that continues beyond a teens youth ministry experience is their connection with adults in a local congregation. One way we are helping this to happen is our move to Thursday nights for youth programming. I came to realize that by placing our main youth program during on Sunday mornings, we were limiting the greater church-wide connections that are so important.
With this in mind, we are working to:
Keep Sunday mornings at LifePoint Teen-friendly.
I'm priviledged to be a part of the creative planning for our main weekend services, and will help to keep our weekend programming engaging for teens as well as adults.
Invite teens to volunteer church-wide
Teens are not the "church of tomorrow", they are the church today. Anywhere there are volunteers serving on Sundays, teens will be invited to serve too. Expect to see teens serving in worship, greeting, media, setup, and in KidzLife too.
CHANGING OUR WORLD:.
We are working to offer many opportunities for students to serve others both within the youth ministry, church, KidzLife, and the community.
